Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
At the start of high school, Sasha came out as transgender. The family of Sasha was supportive during the rough times and Sasha knew that he was capable of anything through music. Jim and Sasha are both song writers and have just recently formed an official band. Since then they've performed at various local events, such as open mics. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's past, however Jim and Sasha shared their story through a short video that was shown prior to their performance. They talked about their favorite music and Sasha's first guitar. The fact that his father was a teacher helped Sasha to become proficient in the art. Sasha was born a female and had a difficult time defining himself as a child. In an Instagram posting, she spoke about his struggle. In the meantime, Jim overcame with emotion in his explanation of the reasons why he was not able to be one of those struggling times. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant was born a girl. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen made the transition to masculinity when he was just entering his first year of high school. Sasha, who is the third ever trans person on the show, wrote: "I feel so honored to be a part of the community of trans people in such an important manner."
